I got to go home last week for a week, and it was so great! I loved being at home in Idaho enjoying the beautiful weather and surroundings. The reason I went home was because the first Price Child got married. My oldest sister married Alex Gregoire from France. He is a great man and they seem very happy together. It was a busy week with something going on every day. We also had Alex's whole family staying with us, so it was quite the adventure. As we tried to communicate with the Gregoires from France we learned that communication and love does not always have to be strictly verbal. Although we couldn't express everything to one another we could feel of their goodness as we hope they could of our family. We felt happy that Emily will have good In laws and a good foundation in her life. During the ceremony it rained. It rained pretty much every night I was there, which is so weird for Idaho. But despite the rain, it was still beautiful and see these two finally join in marriage, it has been like 5 years of dating. Anyway, I was glad that I could be there to support my sister at her and Alex's special day. Here are some pics from the evening!

I when I got home started reading a book I have previously read, but really enjoyed and felt I needed a refresher it is called teh Relationships Seasons by Matthew Richardson. I just feel it has a lot of valuable things to say. Also, in Institute on Tuesday we talked about Eternal Marriages and then last night in Institute we discussed teh 6 Bs and developing good qualities and talked a little bit about what we want in our spouses. It has got me thinking. I have thought a lot about the foundation I want in a relationship and the qualities, attributes, and traits I want in a spouse. Everyone at Emily's wedding kept telling Alex remember this only happens once! I want to marry someone that I know will be loyal and true to me. I look at couples and I can't even imagine myself in that position, but yet I desire it so much. I desire to be a wife and mother. But, I know that all in due time those things will come, and I should spend this time developing my own talents and traits that contribute to a happy home life now and in my own family. One of my biggest desires to marry someone who makes me always want to be a better person. I want to develop and make sure I'm a person that makes others want to be better.
President Gordon B. Hinckley said this: "Choose a companion you can always honor, you can always respect, one who will complement you in your own life, one to whom you can give your entire heart, your entire love, your entire allegiance, your entire loyalty."
I hope and pray this will be Emily and Alex's life together and I hope that I can find someone who I love with my whole heart and vice versa and someone who I complement and they complement me!
