Summer Adventures

Summer Surely has been quite the adventure for me so far. I have not been very good at keeping my blog up to date however. So, Here it goes. I have had a lot of fun and also some fun visitors. Two boys who served in my mission came through Pocatello for their family reunion and we got to play for the day and the weekend. I never served around them but met Robert in California when we were visiting a mutual friend. We got to go four wheeling and then later in the week just hang out. It was great having them.

My friends threw me an awesome Surprise Birthday Party that was so fun!

I went to Bear Lake with My good Friend Kristy and her family the weekend of the fourth of July. We Jet Skied, got sunburned, swam, and played games. It was so fun..oh yeah I also got thrown off the back of the four wheeler right into a mud pile that smelled like Cow.

Then a week Later my friend Robert Holgate came back to work and he got to come to Bear Lake with me and friends for a ward activity. We woke up at 5 am after going to bed around 3 so we could go wakeboarding on the smooth water. It was so worth it and so fun. Robert could do some pretty impressive tricks including a backflip on the wake board. WE were tired after our long trip. Then, him and I jumped back in the car and went to Salt Lake to go to the sister I trained on the mission homecoming. It was such a good weekend.

My Girlfriends and I also had a girls night. My Friend Chelsey is moving to Germany for her husband to play basketball. I'm happy for her but we will miss her and her adorable son Colton. My other friend Lisa was pregnant and just recently had her baby...congrats Lisa!! I also have our shirts advertised that we put together to represent the cougars!

I also recently quit my job and decided to head back East to Virginia for a few weeks. I would not be able to work at my job in the fall anyway. So, I figured I may as well go visit some of my great friends back East. It should be great and I'm excited. I am also running a triathlon next weekend for our family reunion and then I have been training for a marathon in September..Its been hot but so good and I'm feeling pretty good about where my life is. I'm so blessed in all that I have. I feel really good about quitting my job suprisingly, considering the economy but I feel that God will provide for me. Life is Great...Quote for this post "Life is not Measured by the Breaths we take but the Moments that Take our Breath Away" I am constantly having moments that take my breath away and I'm grateful for that!
