All Smiles

So as I've said life in Haiti is not Easy..Here are some pictures from my travels on Saturday! This shows the reality of Port Au Prince!!
The view from one of the places I went today..Pretty great eh? It made me Smile

Nothing Ceases to Amaze me or Suprise me here...This makes me Smile:)

I am grateful for the dumps in America so our rivers don't look like this!

A Tap Tap and a lot of People!
Again so grateful our rivers don't look like this!
A Market!
A Haitian church
The traffic does not always make me smile!

So, we went to Lesley's orphange on Saturday. This made me very excited! It was the first place I ever went with Rebecca and just absolutley fell in love with a few of the kids here. Undo was not himself today which was one of the kids. He along with a bunch of other kids were sick with the chickenpox. Poor kids with no relief. He was not a happy camper but he just came and sat with me and cuddled with me. So, hopefully I offered the poor kid some sort of comfort! Today was cool too because Marilyn came along. She is an older lady who was here on a visit. She was very kind and it was fun to see her excitement and expressions. It reminded me of myself when I first arrived. Also, I have a new American friend which is exciting. He is a 27 year old returned missionary. He is living with Rebecca for an undetermined amount of time. He speaks Kreyole because he spoke it on his mission. So, it was fun to have him to talk with and have him actually understand me and my life. Kind of refreshing!! Anyway, here are some pictures/video from Saturday.....Soooo Cute...If these kids don't bring smiles to your faces then I don't know what will:)
All the kids surrounded us that makes me smile!

Undo-One of my favorite little children..he was sick so Im suprised he's smiling:)

Cute Wesley..Another one I just fell in love with..isn't he precious?

Some of the kids showing off their new cars and toys Marilyn brought

I love Patrick, he is one of Rebecca's "Kids" I couldn't love him more!!

The Kids with Marilyn and her loving every minute of it!

Little Junior..he was being Shy I guess!

This was actually quite comical because they were loving playing with Marilyn's arms!!

Abby, you look beautiful! :) You are making such a positive impact in those childrens' lives. They know that there are people that care about them! You are so wonderful and such an inspiration to so many people...more than you know! On a different note, I still need to e-mail you back! I'm a slacker. It's been very busy around here, though! Love you and miss you, Abby! :)

HI Abby and Happy Easter my daughter. Hope you had a great day. So, having seen Emily have a great experience down there with you, would it an inconvenience if perhaps Andy and I came down to visit in May sometime? I know that the place you stay might be getting tired of visitors so if that's a problem just say so. I want to take him somewhere before his mission and we'd love to see you. I enjoy your posts and appreciate the great experience you are ahving. Love, Dad- you can write back to grp11@hotmail.com
